Sarah's Thoughts: Love, love, love this book! This best friends-to-lovers story melted my heart. It was nice to see how their friendship began in second grade. It WAS adorable. I'm always a fan of dual POV, so it was great to get a look into both their minds. I especially enjoyed the chapters that popped back in time to see how their friendship evolved and how they both supported and protected each other throughout their lives. The evolution of their relationship was so natural, and it was wonderful to see the positive effect it had on both of them individually as well. Marriage of convenience is always a favorite trope. This book mixes that with a little forced proximity, a lovingly sweet close-knit family & found family, and an adorable little babe who could melt the heart of even the burliest of hockey players. I cannot wait to catch up in the D.C. Eagles series by reading books 1 & 2, and  I especially cannot wait for the next one!
