Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare

5.0

HOW CAN IT END LIKE THAT??
So much happened and I’m still processing it all so hopefully this review wont be a complete blabbering mess. Clockwork Prince has so many more sad, heart wrenching moments than book one does it truely had me almost screaming because I was so frustrated that the characters couldn’t all be happy at the same time. I’m soooo invested in them all and my heart actually ached while reading.

My favourite thing about this book/series is how heavily it focuses on friendship, putting your friends first and being selfless. The best scenes in the book for me are the ones with Will and Jem, their bond is incredible and they would do anything for each other. They also have great banter and are just everything I love to read about, complete opposites who love each other unconditionally. Family without being blood.

I even felt bad for some of the villainous characters, not all of them but I could sort of see their side and sympathise as much as I didn’t want to. I also loved getting to see other romances blossom that weren’t Tessa involved. I’m both excited and dreading the next book because I can feel the heartbreak coming yet again. These characters are so easy to love and that’s what’s making this one of my fav series’s.
I could read endless amounts of books with these characters going on adventures and hunting demons.
