I would recommend looking up the content warnings for this book, like most Elle Kennedy novels it has real world issues included throughout the story. For one particular storyline, its more on page and descriptive than I feel like her previous books are. This is
domestic violence by an ex
(brief spoiler). If you want more specifics about what we see on page we see
A character get punched in the face in one scene, and in a later scene the same person breaks in and beats the character. These are both in the 1st person and happen in the current story not as flashbacks
. So read that before picking this up because this is not a light and fun hockey romance. 

I enjoyed this story. I hated Shane at the start but grew to love him. Diana had my whole heart from the start and the banter was amazing. I loved how this story was paced and I think its one of Elle Kennedy's strongest romances to date. I really felt like these two were made for each other!
