Hallowe'en Party by Agatha Christie
4.0

Going into this, I didn’t realize that this was on the tail end of the Poirot series. Published in 1969, this is decidedly more modern take with Poirot. I also love how Christie had a more visual style to her writing than she usually did in the past. Also add the fact both the time this book came out and with Poirot’s personality, it’s not a PC book, but I do appreciate the frankness of the characters and the deeper look of child psychology. I had a blast with this book, worthy of the series towards the end.
