Book Review:
I absolutely enjoyed this book, even though the cliffhanger left me frustrated! Chi Yan, heir to a Yakuza empire, and her bodyguard, Andy Scutari, create an intense, slow-burn romance. The author masterfully blends duty, honor, and personal desire, drawing out emotional tension as Chi battles tradition and Andy wrestles with his growing obsession. The characters are complex, and their chemistry makes the story hard to put down. Be prepared to dive into the second book, as the ending will leave you craving more. Perfect for fans of romance with action, drama, and complicated choices.
