An excellent examination of TV drama and how creative and executive changes can work together to create powerful television. While I don't necessarily agree with all of the shows chosen as "revolutionary" the historical background and overall sum of the book is a great look into why cable is succeeding and broadcast networks struggling in the 21st century. Some of the shows may seem trivial, but Sepinwall does an excellent job at presenting is argument in a clear and concise manner. The anecdotes are compelling and the interviews shine a light on what is often a hidden side to entertainment.
