Delia as a character is relatable in a way that I understand her; unable to help her friend being taken away in front of her eyes, she tries to do something and help other families, creating a true crime podcast- while simultaneously not wanting to share her identification.
As another child is taken away in the same area as Sibby did, I can see how that’s too close to home for her to relive, as she’s labeled as « the one who remained » from a decade old case. All the medias are harrassing her already to speak about the correlation and what not, so we can guess how difficult it is for her; even with her desire to help, she’s rolled up into it too much.
All this time, she told herself she could only help spread the word about other’s for the laptop detectives to find the answers.. until she started following her own lead. What follows then is full of danger and action, keeping me on the edge of my seat until i’ve read the whole thing!
