The Call of the Wild by Jack London

4.0

Read and listened to this book as part of my attempt to read/reread the classics. Good book, written from a dogs point of view. Book is about a dog who is kidnapped and taken to Alaska to become a sled dog. The dog has quite a few adventures. Not written as a kids book but more of a travel/adventure book. Jack London tells a great story and obviously knows dogs. I also liked the end of the book. I also have white fang (also part of the promotion talked about below) and will listen to this next. EZ read and listen.

BTW - the kindle edition of this book is available for free on amazon. At the moment the audio version of this book is available for 99cents if you own the audiobook. This is part of the introduction of Amazon's whispersync technology where you can go between reading and listening to the book. I must say I REALLY enjoyed being able to go back and forth between the two. I also really enjoyed how easy it was to back up or replay the book. I often listen to books while I work and it was a breeze to go back when I have zoned out on an important part.
