Captive in the Dark by CJ Roberts

Wowsa. Wow. Whoa. Whhhhaaattt!? Weirdness. Wild. Wonderful. What more can I say?
Not gonna lie, I was apprehensive about reading this book. But, let me just say, this book was amazaballs. Completely raw, gritty, and by no means, "sunshine-and-daisies". Talk about looking for love in all the wrong places, (or not looking for love), this book completely grips you by the balls and makes you take notice. I felt things I wasn't sure I wanted to feel, and am quite certain I am to some degree suffering from PST.
The storyline was brilliant. The characters were brilliant. The action & suspense were on point. In spite of my better judgement, I found that I wanted things...I should not want. (Maybe I'm suffering from Stockholm Syndrome too.)
I can't wait to start book 2!
