Letters to a Young Poet by Rainer Maria Rilke

5.0

I have no words to describe the beauty, and celestial experience Rilke's letters brought me. Letters to a Young Poet is unlike anything I have read.

It is one of the most sublime pieces of literature that highlights, guides, and explains the craft of writing and the path to follow when creating art. Through his correspondence, Rilke gives the young poet personal advices and glimpses on his outlook on life, art, solitude, patience and so much more. His existential insights and approach have an unusual beauty and simplicity that still ring true in the present time.

This collection of letters is the most heartwarming read, and one I will go back to yearly.
