Wowza, I loved this ride

This is the conclusion of the trilogy that is from Catori’s POV, and what a ride it has been. At no point did I ever really know who to trust or what to expect next. I felt Catori’s pain and betrayal each time she discovered she had been lied to or tricked. She has fought against her adversaries, those who she trusted but betrayed her, those who were really on her side but still hurt her in the process, and against herself. Not only is she young and impulsive, but she is thrust into a world and a battle she knew nothing about. She fought hard in this book, much more so than in the previous books. She definitely rose to the challenge and earned her place as queen.
