This time we focus on Rock and Cade, but we also still have Gray and Simon's POV too. We learn why Rocky is truly in the pack and learn that he is an omega wolf. He was in a bad place and I wanted to hurt that arsehole alpha of his. He didn't see Rocky's true worth and my heart broke for him.
There is a war raging on the sidelines and it ends in a big fight at the end. We learn more about the Demon stalking their pack and see some more of Simon's powers. We got a new pack member; a lion cub.
The fight leaves many of the pack hurt, but it also shows us one of Simon's new powers. The final showdown is in the next book and is a great end to the series.
