Oh man, I wanted to like this so much, and I think in theory I did, but in practice, the constant presence of r*pe was really quite awful - and I GET how it’s supposed to be a metaphor for the pillaging of Indonesia but it is too literal and I rly don’t think it needs to be every 5-10 pages. Regardless, I still finished it, although I think I was just being stubborn
