honestly i couldn't believe this was going to be the final volume because YEAH there's still a lot of time to fill in between the events of vol. 5 and the nick and charlie novella.
as ever, oseman manages to fit in darker topics while still keeping it light-hearted (though it is more referential than anything), this time more around body issues that charlie has which come up when he and nick decide to get more intimate. in addition to this, nick starts to realise he needs to be less dependent on charlie.
aled my beloved is iconic as ever i love him to bits.
i feel like this hasn't really been a good review but as always alice oseman i owe you my existence

FIRST RE-READ - September 2024 (In preparation for Heartstopper Season 3)
I do think that maybe I had a bit of recency bias when this came out so I knocked it down to 4 stars.
