Since I had only made it part of the way through Earth's End, I didn't really know much about Raylynn, and Baldair wasn't incredibly high up on my character like list but this story completely changed my opinions on Baldair and also jumped Raylynn up there into the list as well. I'm really enjoying these little stories explaining everyone's origins to joining the Golden Guard and this one was no disappointment. Though I had a bit more fun with the intrigue of the first story, this one was still enjoyable.
