Felix the Railway Cat
by Kate Moore
A nice and gentle story about Felix the Railway cat and her rise to fame as "Senior pest controller" in Huddersfield (complete with her own special name badge!) Felix sounds adorable, and it's amusing to hear the story of how she grows up along with her feisty siblings, as well as the mistake surrounding her name... I can't say this was one of my favourite cat memoirs, as some parts went on a little too long and were a bit "samey" but it was enjoyable and fun to read and lovely to learn what an impact Felix has made on both members of the workforce and the commuters; some who have travelled for miles to see her!
