I was so involved that reading a couple of chapters before bed turned into reading more than half the book, but by the end, I'd lost track of several characters, and there seemed to be a good amount of coincidence involved. Still, pretty entertaining for a book from the early 1900s. A classic foundational volume of the "had I but known" genre.
