This book is a perfect example of why I keep reading (and rereading) Jae's novels. I really like the unusual set-up of this story; the thread that binds the main characters and keeps them together when things are tenuous and delicate. I like that each character has realistic work to do to become a healthy part of the whole. And, I also like getting exposed to new things (in this case, the Persian culture).

Enjoyable romance with an unconventional beginning to the relationship.
