Spice 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶 🌶

I had a tough time rating this book. I really liked it, but I definitely wanted more. More in mostly a good way. And I feel trying to rate this book higher would be clouding my judgment that I really really really enjoyed the spice (hehe). I did notice some grammar errors, and actually caught a sentence that was written twice.

I am a big sucker for true crime stories, so I would have like a more backstory in Izel, even with Richard. We got most intel about Izel, but there was other information I felt was lacking. I would have liked more information about Isla and even before leading to her death. To add onto the true crime part, I would have like more details about the cases.

I particularly like both Izel and Richard. Izel was annoying, and Richard is too broody in my opinion, and possessive that was slightly (maybe?) too much for me (except in bed pfft)

I have received an ARC by the author, and though my thoughts are honest and true, I wish the author goodluck!
