This sorrowful but hopeful story follows Cyrus as he navigates grief and sobriety. After recently losing his father and continuing to grapple with the tragic loss of his mother when he was an infant, he searches for meaning in death through writing and poetry.
His writing project takes him to NYC to meet with a terminally ill artist named Orkideh, who chooses to live her final days in the Brooklyn Museum as part of her final installation "Death-Speak."
Cyrus' heartache certainly feels contagious, but it's impossible not to love this complex character-even through his missteps.
Graphic: Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Addiction, Abandonment
