Very good -- love story/dystopian teen novel. Love is a disease that must be cured in order to ensure safety and "happiness" and order. Lena is scheduled to have "the procedure" that will cure her, and then she meets a boy and falls in love. She would rather die than give him up, as in all teen romances, a la Romeo and Juliet. At least for once, there isn't a love TRIANGLE in this teen drama -- and I'm looking forward to the sequel.
