~Oct 2014: It was okay. The writing was good, but I was really disinterested in the story. There were a lot of random incidents from the past thrown into the main storyline, which I didn’t enjoy very much. My favorite part was the Cath and Levi cameo simply because I love Fangirl haha!
Sadly, this will probably be the last Rainbow Rowell book I read, because I keep finding that despite the wonderful reviews I see and my love for contemporary novels, I’m seriously disinterested in these stories of hers that I've read. I thought Attachments was alright, and I never ended up finishing Eleanor and Park … Fangirl was the first book by Rainbow I read, and I absolutely loved it. Fangirl is partly why I picked up her other books. I don't know what about it stood out to me so much more than some of RR's other novels, but I suppose it's time for me to move on.
