Go With the Flow (aka a graphic novel I wish existed when I was younger) ♥️

"A friendship story. Period."

I honestly picked this out at the local library because I liked the cover. It took me awhile to figure out the pun which is all over.

My thoughts:
-It focuses on menstruation and the stigma surrounding it, but it's also about friendship and the people who help you find a place in the world.
-This is one of those books that I finish reading and then want to make sure everyone learns about. It's just that important and I'm happy to see the subject covered in a graphic novel.
-I loved how inclusive and informative it was about periods, especially from an emotional standpoint which is often hard to convey in a pamphlet.
-They didn't mention menstrual cups which I think are a game changer. Understandably though since they have a higher learning curve.
