A Touch of Malice by Scarlett St. Clair

1.0

Oh where do I even start...
1st off, I want to say the storyline for this book is AMAZING! and if my review was based off that alone it would be 5 stars. But the main character... ohhh Persephone. She drives me NUTS!!! If the author would have made her a strong independent woman this book would have thrived. But instead, you get poor me, I want to be independent but I have no idea how to function unless someone is holding my hand. I can handle this on my own... why weren't you there to save me? The constant highs and lows made it so hard to read and stay interested. While reading, the storyline would be great then ruined by her whining. And for prime example, when Persephone kills her mother out of rage then immediately tries to act like she never meant to hurt her and what the fuck happened? LIKE UGH!!!!! I so badly want to know what happens in the next book but Persephone has ruined my want to read any further.
