Not Safe for Work
by Nisha J. Tuli
Wow this book was so much fun! I really enjoyed the plot and the character development throughout. We follow tris and Rafe fellow associates that are sent to a work retreat and are forced to share a room together while on a beautiful resort in Maui. Tension grows between the two as they are forced to work together and or against each other during group activities during the retreat and find there is more than tension that bonds them. This was excellent representation of some of my favorite tropes. This is closed proximity, workplace romance, enemies to lovers and one bed trope among others. I really how Tris navigated the struggles that she goes through as a female working in an Industry that is dominated by men. She is fierce and strong and stand up for her beliefs and that is exactly what I want from the FMC. Rafe is struggling with his own passions and dreams while having to please his father by working a job he doesn’t love. Overall they help one another truly see what they want and how to overcome their struggles. Their banter was on point and it was very enjoyable book. I really enjoyed the audiobook for this one and the spice was great too! If you enjoy a great rom com with great banter and a lot of spice you will really enjoy this book. I also really loved the authors note in the beginning of the book.
