Even though this book has great reviews, I am so sad to say that I didn’t love it. I thought that the plot felt a bit vague and that there was no true end goal. It just felt like the characters were reacting to what was happening without really having an objective.
Also, the romance was so quick and didn’t feel well developed. I think this is mostly because I don’t think that the author dropped hints soon enough which led it to feel a bit sudden when the characters revealed their feelings.
Overall, I thought this book was fine but I probably wouldn’t recommend it. I didn’t feel invested in the plot or the characters so I don’t think I will bother with the second book in the series.
