Farmer Boy Goes West by Heather Williams

We loved this book and how it fills in the story between Farmer Boy (one of our family's favorites) and The Long Winter, when Almanzo heroically saves the town from starvation. It is well researched and written in such a fun, engaging manner in the style of Laura Ingalls Wilder. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Little House books.
