The Disappearing Act by Catherine Steadman
4.0

I really enjoyed this and absolutely flew through it. The world of Hollywood is so interesting to me, so a thriller set in that industry was right up my alley. I liked how dark things got and that the book didn't shy away from showing the gritty reality of Hollywood.

I thought that Mia was a great main character and liked that she was very clever in how she unravelled everything that was going on. The mid book plot twist was so so good and I didn't see it coming at all! Very well done and unique - I've not read anything like this before. The plot took a turn I wasn't expecting but I liked how the book ended!
