Sexy as Sin by W. Winters

4.0

This book took me through a lot of emotions. I empathized with all of the characters.
It starts off with Cillian and Kat when they are young high school sweethearts, both part of different crime families with business connections. They are truly devoted to one another and cant wait to spend their lives together. Then someone betrays Cillians family and he takes the wrap and goes to prison for 4 years. Kat and Cillians relationship struggle with this new strain and other events that happen in this book. They still fiercely love each other but is that enough? Well, we find out when Cillian is released and has his best friend Reed take him to stay with Kat.
Each character goes through their own struggles during this time.
Cillian is loyal, intense, but has a new coldness to him due to his prison experiences.
Kat is angry, confused, lost and lonely.
Reed and his growing feelings, his distrust, confusion and his loneliness without his closest friend.
I didn’t know where the story was going to go as I read on but I loved every second of it.
Kat and Cillian jump back into their sweet and hot romance, while both having secrets they’re not sure they want to share. Reed the best friend not knowing where he belongs now that his friend is back.
As secrets come out the balance between these three shifts all while dealing with a rat and betrayal.
I haven’t read a book like this from Willow Winters before, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. I wish there was more of these three.
