I received an eARC of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I wanted to love this one, and I did appreciate the premise, the fake dating/friends-to-lovers trope, and the diversity. The way Kenya and Cam take the high road when faced with drama and conflict within filming is also great and feels realistic. Unfortunately, the pacing of the romance and the way other issues are resolved felt rushed or glossed over. Overall, though, it's a fun #ownvoices romance if you're looking for something heart-warming to pick up and read.
