I'm wondering if I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't listened to the audiobook. The narrators did a good job, but Sutanto makes narrative choices that, I think, come across as a little cringey when read out lout. That being said, I like Sharlot's voice a lot more than Kiki's in the second installment and, while the conflicts, for the most part, were silly, they weren't unbearably contrived.
I think Sutanto did a better job of balancing silly issues with really world issues in this book and the cast of characters was likable overall.
