Wool was so well crafted from the character development to the slow reveal and one of my favorite first chapters ever. This was not that.
What’s up with the sand suits? Is this like The Force? No explanation.
How do the people in this dystopian dust bowl know what a keyboard is but the don’t know Danvar is Denver? Why would Denver be buried deeper than Pueblo and Colorado Springs? Makes no sense.
Most egregiously why is sex work so vilified? Hey Ryder, if your dad is such a big shot why does he spend all his money at the Honey Hole? (Really, the Honey Hole?)
