I loved the rollercoaster - Reid’s ability to weave these intersecting and diverging storylines was on full display. Which made the ending fall so flat I actually got angry. Maybe she was trying to push the point that these supposed rockstars are just human in the end and sometimes human endings are boring as hell. But my god it fell like the storytelling found its cliff and just dove right off, no second thoughts.
