Zeph’s people, the Nereidans, are looking for compatible partners to survive, and have found their perfect specimen in Derek Cross, Jake’s ex boyfriend. 

Only when they show up to abduct him, they have some outdated information about his location, and accidentally grab Jake instead. 

For the next 72 hours, Jake cohabitates and is observed by his alien companion, Zeph, as part of a research study for compatibility between their species. 

What’s unexpected is the chemistry that sparks between them, and things soon go beyond just a research analysis as the pair have a genuine connection. 

For how insta love this was, I actually found this cute? Doesn’t hurt Jake and Zeph were honestly pretty adorable.
