When I read that the MMC was a firefighter I was sold! I’m not sure what I was as expecting but this wasn’t it. The novella just wasn’t for me. The MMC gave me the ick! I thought the FMC was weak. I just think this one is a miss for me. It’s only 87 pages and it definitely was steamy, if you want to give it a try please do. I’m just a very character driven reader and these characters weren’t it.
