The Bonus
by T.L. Swan
This is my first TL Swan book and it won't be my last! I listened to the audiobook version and it was fantastic! CJ Bloom is one of my favorites to listen to so it made this book super enjoyable. Sean Masters did a great job as a grumbling Gabriel. I highly recommend giving the audiobook a listen!
Grace has been Gabriel's PA for seven long years. She is tired of hiding her feelings for him. Not to mention having to buy gifts for his endless parade of women. She decides to quit her job and start over by moving to a completely different state.
Gabriel is a control freak and doesn't allow himself to give into his desire for Grace. When she quits, he finally gives into temptation and they have an explosive night together. In the morning he dismisses her and any chance of a life they might have together.
Grace flees to her new house and life but not without a little "bonus."
I like how this book spanned across a few years so seamlessly. I also enjoyed seeing the control freak Gabriel lose control when it came to Grace.
