My god this was hard to get through. Amazing premise, but it was written by some guy in the late '40s so you can imagine how it's written. Took me about a month to get through, and I even skipped all but a few pages of
the book
. Usually I'd read a book this size in 1-2 weeks, for reference. Would love a modern version, but obv this is a classic book so that kinda defeats the purpose imo
