I loved this book. I recently reread the Hunger Games books and found it hard to find any dystopian stories that were comparable until now. I thought the pace was perfect, the development of the characters was well done, and I liked the introspection that they went through. The relationships were sometimes complicated and the witty dialogue was fun. What I loved most is that while it ended as expected since it's the first in a series, it wasn't the type of cliffhanger that left me upset. I felt like Natalie is giving me a chance to breathe before we move on with the next one.
Moderate: Medical trauma
