The Raven King by Nora Sakavic

5.0

I AM DESTROYED.
This book.
This series.
It's probably one of them best things that happened to me these past few months.
I read books and often I love them, but I can count on the tips of my fingers the ones that truly make me obsessed.
I can't stop thinking about it, about Neil and Andrew and all of the Foxes.

"Dan, I said please. I tried to be nice."

Neil Josten is probably the best thing of the whole series.
Sassy and foulmouthed, with a bad attitude and lots of issues, I love him with my whole heart.
Seeing him broken and tired and hurt made me want to cry and hug him tight.
And all the other characters are equally amazing.
I'm in love with every one of them.

This second book is much darker than the previous one.
Some things that happened I could have predicted, but the author brought it all to whole new level of darkeness.
Each one of the Foxes have their own cruel past, but I was so heart broken to read about Andrew's. My heart just crumpled to the ground in the second half of the novel.
And it was definitely pulverized with the last chapters.

And speaking of Andrew and Neil, I cannot say it enough times: I SHIP THEM WITH MY WHOLE SELF.

I'm already into the third one, but I can't mentally prepare for this series to end.
It's too marvellous for my own sake.
