First of all, thank you so much to Alex Hartwell for reaching out to me and offering me a copy of his short novel in return for my honest opinion.

This was a slow burn, haunted house story with some family conflict thrown in. At 134 pages this is a quick one sitting read- that reads just like you're watching a movie. If you enjoyed 'Incidents Around the House' you'll probably enjoy this short novel. Although there aren't too many graphic scenes in this book, there is one of note at the end of the book that readers that have sensitivities to blood/violence against children might want to watch out for.
