Its so easy to see, so early on in the book, why it’s gotten all the acclaim it has. This novel is incredible - it hit me emotionally like a ton of bricks at the end, but I’m so glad I read it.

The themeing throughout is incredibly consistent and well done. I loved how the twins’ traits interchanged over time through their daughters- its a great study into how we cant always hide from who we are. This book is so deep and complex, and Ill be thinking about it for some time.
