Beautiful and emotional and gay and made the mommy issues pop out-- basically everything I need in a book! The cover screams contemporary summer, which isn't usually my thing, but the story is so much more and it has such a stellar depiction of what it's like to be a child to a struggling, impossible-to-lean-on parent. Plus, the bi rep is lovely, as is Eva and Grace's romance. 4.25 stars, I wanna reread this and I just finished it.
