Eh. I liked this about as much as I did the first one. The characters don't jump off the page and demand you connect with them, and the technology is all so convenient for anything Martin needs to do. Not even just the technology, but just about everything in the world becomes super-convenient at the exact moment Martin needs it to be.

Oh, and the apparently sentient blanket-thing? Seriously?
