To be completely honest i have no clue how to rate this book. It's around 3-4 starts for me.
It truly felt like a fever dream, or a psychedelic trip gone wrong, if that even makes sense. It took me around a week to read because i felt like I was slowly loosing my mind?
It took me by surprise in a number of ways, but Sam is such a unreliable narrator because of her very vivid imagination, that i almost have no clue of what was real, and what was made up (Jonah?) And the second act of the book? From a psychological perspective, the group mentality was wild.
One of the darkest, most bizarre reads I've ever read, and I applaud the author for even coming up with it in the first place, because woah
