vsobaka05 's review for:
The Queen of the Valley
by Lorena Hughes
I'm only just now realizing that this book was a (supposedly standalone) sequel, which would have been good to know beforehand and maybe changed my opinion on this book...
I was confused by the large cast of characters and didn't feel very attached to any of them because of this. I was somewhat intrigued, but because of the confusion, it was hard to get invested in the story.
I would probably complain more, but I also realize a lot of those may be due to not reading the first book, so I won't be unfair and sling those complaints here.
