I liked this one much better than the first, which I gave 4 stars but might be a 3 or 3.5. Kate is a refreshing heroine, knowing her flaws, remaining moral, caring, not sleeping with every attractive paranormal dude...I like her a whole lot. She's not too stupid to live, which is a plague among these types of novels.
