Within the first 40 pages I felt this would be an S-tier book. That feeling stayed with me through every page.
There is a quality to Chimamanda's writing that feels like a palpable piece of the human spirit is woven into the pages. A quality I haven't felt as tangibly in other books I have loved.
I have felt grief in 'This Thing Between Us', The Overstory in 'The Overstory', divine familial and romantic connection in 'The Spear Cuts Through Water'.
'Dream Count' feels human in a way I have never read before.
