This book is about 4 Rivas children and their life. The timelime goes back and forth from the 50' to the 80's. It focuses on a rock star and how he fell in love with June and how the 4 Rivas came to be.
The book takes place in a 24 hour span. I like how Taylor Jenkins Reid decided to do something different then her previous work but still told a great story. I really enjoy her writing and her story telling. I really love that she can show a range of where her stories can go and even the way the book concluded the way it was wrapped up felt enough for me. A+
