Laura just knows the recipe for a romance! This book has me ready to book a trip to Alaska to meet the love of my life. I really enjoyed the meet cute in this book- one night stand gone wrong. Small towns always offer the perfect amount of proximity for tension to lead to a relationship. I liked Myles and Montana. Montana is that girl. She has her thriving business with her besties and is content. In comes Myles to shake it all up. These two have the fun enemies verbal sparring that evolves into friendship and more. I always love seeing that progression. Myles is a man down bad though he can’t see it or own it. One thing I appreciated about this book was that the conflict and resolution did not feel rushed or forced, the characters were given the time to really work through their issues. I recommend this for fans of enemies to lovers but make him a billionaire. I am very excited for book 2 based on the teaser scenes.
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Infidelity, Abandonment
