I really enjoyed this book! It’s giving hallmark rom-com movies starring chad michael murray 😂 the tension between Frannie and John had me giggling - but for me I loved the bond they made while getting through their inner demons and the VERY complicated relationships with their friends and family. 

I loved Frannies growth so so much, her feelings and her inner thoughts in just the prologue made me feel so soon, and I was so happy to see her really put herself first ❤️

Frannie heads to her family’s lake house when her long term boyfriend dumps her, and refuses to let herself be in a position where she chooses someone’s happiness over hers. She wants to have fun, focus on the business she wants to build and just be happy. 

Enter John,  a retired baseball player who has his own issues to deal with - but can’t shake Frannie from his mind. He was SO patient, caring and I just wanted to give him a big hug. 

Side note- Frannies sister better get a book LOL!
